DOGMERs! The lost decades, placing the blame squarely on boomers!

DOGMERS
Any thoughts or experience on the level of Dogmers (Dogma)+ (BOOMERS) surrounding the perceived by-products of freedom? Prohibition is quite fascinating, if not a little horrifying and sickening - perhaps a topic idea moving forward.  The CSA of 1970 (protection of middle class) and corporate write off (61% of all jobs created after 1994 were low wage jobs) while production and corporate profits up 120% -  Gave rise to the destruction of the middle class which is arguably the root of all the problems of modern North America (purpose and money), it is getting bad and the problems are only getting worse - look at the violence in Chicago and south of the border that is destroying Mexico.  If you are not concerned you should be - your neighborhood will be next and the corporate press refuses to acknowledge for reasons I can not explain.
'We need the Controlled Substance Act to protect our children and our future' - at the time 70 percent of America had never even tried pot and so they went along with it.'

Misunderstandings cost lives, well maybe not my misunderstanding of things but let us take Trump for example, the gentlemen is trying to get the cartels labeled terrorists, so he can play around with things he does not understand - the use of deadly force through our military and intelligence assets is something to which his record gives no indication of mastery.   Do we really want to start war with the cartels and by proxy Mexico itself? Enough blood has been shed, prohibition has to be acknowledged as destructive and stopped, the other direction reeks of things we are seeing in Hong Kong, freedom comes with a premium of responsibility, that is certain, no need to be scared. When confused, just remember who you are and error on the side of freedom.

The US consumer of illicit substances has been on the rise for decades, in a linear rate of usage; the graph is interesting when overlapped against corporate profits. An increase in the most popular substances also parallels an increase in productive output, the stat that worries me is at what cost? The life expectancy is going down for the first time in two decades, whatever triggered three years of decline needs to be identified. Warning, warning! Bliss inside ignorance, shelter is found.

My gift to the world, CSA of 1970 - death and destruction.

Mexico should be happy they have central banks, otherwise, things would get a lot worse before they got better as the justification of war exists with the prohibitionists, the folly of that position is quite evident to those that can see beyond our own fear and reminds me I'm riding an unguided missile that's destination is uncertain but who's outcome is branded with absolute certainty.  The missile is going to explode, somewhere because it has too.  The law of the universe demands it. Gravity has beaten or killed many challengers since the beginning of the recorded story? Go ahead, and try it and enjoy it?  The more war we make, the more mess we make, so how much do we really want to make today? None. OK. Sounds good!

Over a million souls have died in this war against our ego, the 'I know better, do better, WHY cant you be BETTER little voice that rambles on and on and blah and blah! Turn it off! Not possible. Can you please just turn it down? Watch your thoughts, do not judge, let it be and you will be set free into the moment. Waste of life, its too late, that soul is lost and reflections vanish into memory.  Armchair quarterbacks not allowed, no mulligans, no do-overs, no resets, silence at last for those poor souls reflected back as horror and death for the rest of us. Survivors? Survivors have to carry the wounded and fallen, no glory in picking up someone's mess and certainly not as fun as causing it, as some of those rage, rage into the good night, dancing with gods while enjoying perfect laughter. The loser gets to clean up. General Patton once said, "America loves a winner, and will not tolerate a loser - I would not give a too-tin ass for a man that lost and laughs.

To those that have beaten their ego into submission, welcome back.  Freedom will set us free, its so obvious that when written it looks and even sounds stupid to say, so why all the problems with freedom. Tts no surprise freedom is a key ingredient for the happiness that many seem to be missing, that's really  - bad in a nation designed to be the playground where the pursuit of such endeavor is not secondary, but central in importance.  As Lewis Gizzard once said, " we are being ruled by those that are educated far beyond their intelligence."  Gizzard, like Twain before him -  have been poking at the ego's lack of common sense, laughing at those that possess too much and the resulting comedy from underestimating or misunderstanding its power. 'Bout time yawl prohibitionists started get-tin' it, Ya HEAR!'  'This is getting dang gum serious now, seriously!'

Why America thought it was a goo
d idea to turn prohibition back on after the first disaster is something only the perceived jeopardy of a nation could have cause some 50 years ago. Its never too late to say your sorry, especially to ourselves. Perhaps it is time that we started being honest about that particular misunderstanding, and lay it gently in the pile of horror known as good intentions gone evil and finally say "I am sorry, peace be with you."  The war on ourselves would finally be over, and the healing would finally begin.

Perhaps one result from all this suffering will be the fading voice that whispers, "Look! You see house of humanity wobbles from time to time, but do not fear feel this unalienable right that you know to be true - - the wind cries with disappointing gusts until it commands receipt "the door of freedom and liberty only needs to be cracked to let 'truth' slip pasts fears nasty foot - which held the door shut for far too long. Somehow, somewhere we already knew this to be true, the million that lived in horror, and ultimately feel victim - not to a gun or a substance but to that annoying little voice that thinks, it knows better, I suppose the act of apology does threaten ones judgement, relax - people get it wrong all the time and change direction, boomers are no different and they understand this - don't procrastinate, get her done... boomers!
